Nathan grew up in the Seattle area. From a musical family, music has been part of his life since he can remember. Nathan took up the viola in elementary school and switched to saxophone in Jr. high. In high school he began dabbling in the guitar and writing songs and he began leading worship in his high school youth group and playing on the worship team on Sundays in church. As he entered adulthood he began leading worship on a regular basis. In 2012 he took a full time worship pastor position at Munster Church in Munster, IN. A year and a half later he would return to his home church in Puyallup, WA. This time as their full time worship and children’s pastor. All through this time Nathan was writing music for himself and for his church to sing. In 2014 he entered a songwriting contest on a local Seattle radio station and won 1st place. As a result of this Nathan received some music mentoring from John Mays of Centricity Music who coached him to put together a crowd-source funding album project. The project was a huge success and Nathan was able to release his first professionally produced album “You Were There”. Nathan has continued to write and lead worship in the local church around the Seattle area.
